The bombs ended the second world war in the Pacific and Asia and destroyed these two cities and all life in a 3km radius from the hypocenter, the point directly below the nuclear explosion. Quite impressive the visit these cities exactly these days and see the preparations for the memorials being made

Last year due to cloud coverage and in 2010 because I fell asleep in the train after a long night going out in Tokyo 😂. Due to climate change Mount Fuji peak is no longer covered in snow during the summer months
