After leaving the Deventer City Camping all the farewell activities were completed and my journey had really started. The goal was to reach the Bodensee by the weekend to meet my long time friend Marcel there. On the way I took the time to visit some sites.

It has already been more than a week since I left Amsterdam, so time for my first travelogue about this Amsterdam to Sydney adventure. And since most of the first days since I left were filled with farewell activities this one will be more of a personal kind.

Announcing Amsterdam to Sydney
Dear friends, some time ago I promised you to unveil my plans for my next adventure. Some troubles with Brutus delayed this announcement, but also the journey itself as I had in mind to start already this year. Brutus is still at the garage and repair still has to be started, however eventually the issues will be solved, and I am excited to share my plans with you. Also today three years ago I started my African adventure so for me a bit of a special day and a good moment to look ahead to new adventures.
